Returns & Exchanges Policy

To initiate a return or exchnage, please follow these steps to ensure your item is eligible:

  • To be eligible for a return, ensure the following:
  1. Purchase Verification: All merchandise must be purchased from velpeau.com and returned within 30 days of delivery.
  2. Warranty Compliance: All returns must be made within the product's warranty period.
  3. Support Team Confirmation: Issues must be confirmed with a VELPEAU product expert using photos or videos for your refund request to be considered.
  4. Original Packaging: All items must be returned in their original packaging to qualify for refund or exchange. Used items are not eligible for return and exchange. Please note that we do not provide merchandise return labels for international returns.

If the item has been used, is missing parts, or does not meet our health and safety Return & Exchange criteria, the return will be rejected and return to buyer.

Support Team Authorization: A return must be authorized by our support team to be eligible.

  • Responsibility for Shipping Costs: VELPEAU will provide a return shipping label for returning items via email.

Return Policy:

  1. Return Label: We will provide the customer with a return label to ship the order back to us.
  2. Inspection: Once we receive the returned item, we inspect it to ensure it is unused and in its original packaging.
  3. Refund Issuance: If the returned item passes the inspection, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.
  4. Refund Timing: Depending on the bank, the timing of receiving the refund will vary. Normally, the refund credit will appear on your account within 3-5 business days.

**If a return is received by the our warehouse within 30 days after approval, it will be processed. If not, the return will be considered delinquent, and a refund will not be issued.

Exchange Policy

  • Eligibility for Exchange: Most items are eligible for exchange if you ordered the incorrect size or item, except for those that do not meet our Health and Safety Return and Exchange Criteria
  • Condition Requirement: All items must be in new condition to qualify for an exchange.
  • Exchange Fee: Exchanges may be subject to an exchange fee to cover additional shipping costs.
  • Exchange Authorization: Please contact us at service@velpeau.com to obtain an Exchange Authorization.

**Exchanges must be completed within 30 days from the date of delivery.

To uphold the highest standards of safety and hygiene, VELPEAU implements rigorous health and safety criteria for accepting returned items. Here are the essential criteria that must be satisfied for a return to be considered:

  • Product Condition: Products must be returned in their original packaging. We do not accept returns of used products due to strict hygiene and safety concerns. Items must be in their pristine original condition, showing no signs of use or tampering. This includes maintaining all labels, barcodes, and protective covers intact.
  • Sterility and Hygiene: Products designed to be sterile or that require sanitary conditions must not be compromised. This category includes, but is not limited to, hernia belts, neck braces, thumb support sleeves, walking boots, and certain orthopedic braces.
  • Safety Seals: To be eligible for a return or exchange, products equipped with safety seals must have the seals unbroken and fully intact.
    These criteria are in place to safeguard our customers and ensure that all products adhere to necessary safety standards before they are handled or reused. Any returned item failing to meet these standards will not be accepted for a return or exchange.

To ensure the safety, hygiene, and satisfaction of all our customers, certain items purchased from VELPEAU are not eligible for return or exchange. This policy includes, but is not limited to, the following categories:

  • Personal Use Items: Products designed for close personal contact cannot be resold due to hygiene and safety concerns. Examples include compression garments, braces worn against the skin, and any other item intended for single-user use.
  • Custom-Made Items: Any product that has been tailored or customized to fit the specific needs or preferences of an individual is not eligible for returns or exchanges. This includes items that have been adjusted for size, added features, or personalized in any way.
  • Final Sale Items: Products marked as final sale or non-returnable at the time of purchase will not be accepted for returns or exchanges. This is often indicated on the product description page and at checkout.
